Every Friday we will feature one of our favorite photographs from our previous adventures. If you want to have your photo featured here, please email it through to contact[at]donteverlookback.com.
Upon returning to Singapore in 2011, one of the places we were most looking forward to visiting was the revamped waterfront at Marina Bay. In this photo you can see the architectural wonder that is the Marina Bay Sands and the blooming lotus that is actually a Rooftop Amphitheater.
The Marina Bay Sands is even more impressive inside with the three luxury hotel towers, the world’s most expensive standalone casino and things such as a gondola ride from one end of the mall to the other.
You can’t go to Singapore without visiting Marina Bay.

It’s a beautiful part of Singapore and looks even better from the river at night!
I haven’t been to Singapore but this will be on my top list to visit when the day comes.
I’m glad to come across your blog.

Glad you found us Gabz and thanks for commenting!
There should be affordable flights on offer with either Cebu Pacific or Jetstar Asia so hopefully you can get there sooner rather than later.
Never visit Marina Bay Sands before but will look forward to visit this place.
I wonder what the blooming lotus look from the inside.
Hey you guys!
That’s a really great shot of the Marina Bay! The Singapore Flyer is also a place where you can have a great view of the city and the marina bay!
Also, did you know that the marina bay is also part of the street circuit of Formula One?
Kate and I would take leisurely strolls along the bay in the evening as well! Glad that you guys had a great time in Singapore!
