Aren’t giraffes amazing animals? Many years back I had the opportunity to feed one a had of lettuce (they love lettuce!) at a private zoo in New Hampshire , USA of all places. I always remembered those incredibly long eyelashes — look at the photo again to see what I mean.

They sure are Jim – we got to feed them at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle last year and this was a great experience. The eyelashes on a giraffe are so pretty, aren’t they?!
