Cradle Mountain is one of the most beautiful destinations in Tasmania (if not the whole of Australia) with an abundance of flora and fauna. We saw padmelons, wallabies, wombats, possums and even an echidna just roaming around without a care in the world.
This photo is of Cradle Mountain itself as seen from the north across the spectacular Dove Lake.

Beautiful. This reminded me of a mountain the center of the city of Monterrey, Mexico that looks like a saddle.

Just looked it up on Google, it does look very similar! Wonder how many others there are in the world like these…
Gorgeous! I’ve been to Australia twice now, but still haven’t made it to Tasmania. Someday…

Third time lucky! You definitely have to head down south and check it out.
Ohh, I haven’t been down that way since a school trip long ago – looks amazing!

It was amazing – really wish we had time to walk around it!
Oooo, very nice! It looks like someone took a bite out of it.

It does! It’s named Cradle Mountain because of its resemblance to a gold mining cradle but we wouldn’t have a clue what one of those looked like if it wasn’t for Google Images. Perhaps they should rename it to become more modern? Haha.
What an amazing pic! Love it! I wanna go!
