5 Great Places For A Drink With A View In Sydney

Sydney is a city that radiates. It looks gorgeous in the first golden morning light, at noon when the sun is sparkling off the water and at dusk when a fiery sunset gives way to tawny twinkling lights. With its iconic harbour, beautiful city beaches and stunning city views, Sydney is relentlessly breathtaking. After checking into your accommodation in Sydney, what better way to enjoy its beauty than with a favourite drink in hand?

Accommodation.com provides five great suggestions:

Opera Bar, Circular Quay

You can’t get much more quintessentially Sydney than sitting right next to the Opera House while looking at the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It’s one of the more casual venues at Circular Quay. No obligatory pricy menus, no white table cloths, just plenty of outdoor tables and beautiful people. Dusk is the best time to grab a cocktail and try to nab a seat at Opera Bar. The lights begin to switch on in the dimming twilight and by the time you’re ready to leave, the entire harbour is bewitchingly lit.

Open: Sun-Thurs 11:30am-midnight, Fri-Sat 11:30am-1am
Location: Sydney Opera House, Lower Concourse level (02)9247 1666

Bondi Icebergs, Bondi Beach

Perched on the South Bondi end of the famous beach, Icebergs offers impressive views of the entire beach and the Icebergs pool. In addition to the pool club, there is the Bistro and the Dining Room and Bar. For casual pub fare and affordable drink prices, head to the Bistro. If you’re looking for a little more Bondi glitz and glamour, the Dining Room and Bar has your name on it. Food and fabulous views are available in both parts of the building.
